Renée Hermsen started her career in music in The Netherlands by driving her mates’ band around, who later became one of the biggest alternative bands in the country. While still at uni she joined their management agency as a day-to-day manager. In a bid to finish her thesis at last, she went to work as freelancer and became a tour manager, merchandiser, stage manager, driver - so long as she was part of the live business.
In 2014 she joined MOJO, Holland's biggest concert and festival promoter. Initially as a booking assistant, and shortly after as project coordinator for major festivals such as Lowlands and Down The Rabbit Hole.
Until in 2017 Renée moved to Melbourne to start promoting for Live Nation. Early 2020 she moved onto Auckland from where she continues to promote across both countries. She's worked with acts like Bad Bunny, Tones and I, Twenty One Pilots, Pixies, Amy Shark, BENEE, IDLES and many more.
