Lucas Harwood

Lucas Harwood is a founding member and bassist of the Australian band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. He grew up in Geelong where he attended high school and also attended RMIT university where he met his future bandmates. The band released their first full length album in 2012 and have gone on to release 27 albums as of 2026 (13 of which have charted in Australia) and are beloved internationally by their “Gizzverse” fanbase. Lucas has served as a Mentor with Rock Academy Australia. He lives with his family in Geelong.
