Andrew Patterson

After almost 40 years as a public school teacher in schools in rural NSW, the last 15 as a teaching principal, I retired earlier this year. I have always been passionate about providing students in rural and remote settings the opportunities that students in larger schools take for granted. In seeking ways to engage all staff and students in music I happened upon Amplify which ensures all students receive a quality music education regardless of setting or teacher expertise. I have also engaged specialist music teachers where possible to cater for students demonstrating potential and enthusiasm for learning an instrument.
