#About

Huia Hamon is a Māori Artist, Singer, Producer, Studio Engineer and Strategist. She co-runs MPG Aotearoa (Music Producer Guild of Aotearoa) and advocates for indigenous inclusion, staunch diversity and being a māmā in the music community of Aotearoa, New Zealand. She is a frequent traveller and panel speaker on music futurisms; a place where culture, tradition and futures collide. HUIA performed globally in Scotland and Japan last year, with Rei and Pakōpakō on tour and her last album 'Kawakawa' charted for 5 weeks, as well as the latest releases, 'Rangimārie' Remix by AROHA and 'Korikori' wiht Lady Shaka and Rei.
