Where can I collect my BIGSOUND delegate pass?

You can collect your delegate pass during the following times from the Judith Wright Centre Shopfront:

Tuesday 5 September - 11am to 8pm
Wednesday 6 September - 9am to 6pm
Thursday 7 September - 9am to 5pm
Friday 8 September - 10am to 4pm

Note: proof of identification must be shown when collecting your pass.

Your delegate pass will get you into all things BIGSOUND, including the Music Festival.

Where can I collect my BIGSOUND Media pass?

The BIGSOUND media centre will be located at Brunswick & Ann at the top of the Valley mall, opposite RG’s and all media passes can be collected from there. 

The media centre will be open on:

Tuesday 5 September - 2pm – 5pm 
Wednesday 6September - 9am – 5pm 
Thursday 7 September - 9am – 5pm

If you arrive after 5pm it will be available from:

Oztix Shopfront – Brunswick Street Mall, 316 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley:

Tuesday 5 September - 5pm – 11pm

Where can I collect my music festival wristband?

BIGSOUND Festival is a wristbanded event. Wristbands must be worn at all times to gain entry to official festival venues. You can redeem your music festival ticket for your wristband/s from the pop-up Oztix shopfront in Fortitude Valley during BIGSOUND. 

Additional tickets/wristbands can be purchased on the night unless sold out.

·         Wednesday, 6 September   between 4pm – 11:00pm

IMPORTANT: You will need photo ID to claim your wristband!

Due to the introduction of ID scanning from 1st July into the safe night precinct of Fortitude Valley, new measures have been put in place as part of the condition that ID scanning at each venue be waived for BIGSOUND Festival attendees.

This means that each person must be present when collecting their wristband from the Oztix ticket shop. The name on your e-ticket does not necessarily need to match your ID; however, every person must show ID before being issued with a wristband.

Guests will not be issued wristbands to take from the ticket shop to give to others later, under any circumstances.

All BIGSOUND Festival shows are strictly 18+.

What does my BIGSOUND delegate pass get me into?

Entry to all BIGSOUND conference sessions (subject to capacity restrictions)
Access to online delegate networking
Entry to all festival showcase events on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights (18+ venues / subject to capacity restrictions)
Access to BIGSOUND parties and after party
Conference show bag

What happens if I lose my delegate pass?

Lost or stolen BIGSOUND passes will not be replaced. A new pass will need to be purchased at the full rate for continued access to BIGSOUND events, including music festival venues, parties and conference panels. Please take very good care of your delegate pass and keep with you at all times during the event.

How do I get into the keynotes?

The keynotes are very popular and entry is subject to room capacity. We highly recommend you arrive early to all keynotes for a chance to get a seat, however please be aware that entry cannot be guaranteed. 

How do I get into the music festival venues?

Your BIGSOUND delegate pass grants you entry into music festival venues across all nights. Shows start from 8.00pm. Be sure to take your BIGSOUND delegate lanyard with you, and be aware that entry is subject to venue capacity and cannot be guaranteed. Strictly 18+. 

Music festival ticket holders must wear their BIGSOUND Festival wristbands at all times for entry to all official festival venues. 

All festival venues are strictly 18+ and are subject to capacity considerations.

Check out the local trader profiles as they come online in the lead up to BIGSOUND Festival 2017.

How can I register for a workshop or masterclass?

Log into the Delegate Portal and select the Masterclasses tab to book your seat. Opportunities to register for masterclasses won't come online until just before the event.

How do I contact other BIGSOUND delegates?

You will receive a login to the BIGSOUND delegate portal closer to the event. You can access this on the front page of the BIGSOUND website at bigsound.org.au. This gives you access to the contact details of most delegates attending the event so be sure to get in touch and plan your meetings ahead of time.

Can I get a refund for my delegate pass?

Yes, up to Friday, 18 August, 2017. Refunds of BIGSOUND registration may be permitted on a case by case basis. Delegates must notify the organisers in writing no later than 18 August 2017. If a refund is agreed to, a 10% admin charge will be deducted from the refund amount. 

After Friday, 18 August - BIGSOUND registrations are not refundable.
