Subscriber rate applies to Paid-Subscribers of QMusic as well as members/subscribers of AIR, AAM, AFA, AMPAL, ALMBC, IMNZ, WAM, MusicACT, MusicNSW, MusicSA, Music NT, Music Tasmania, Music Victoria, A2IM, CBAA, MMF NZ, MPEG via our reciprocal subscription/member commitment.

Please note - Reciprocal Subscription/Membership of the above organisations entitles you to ONE (1) discounted registration per subscription except where indicated below. The only subscription categories that entitle you to more than one discounted delegate pass are:
QMusic Business / Organisation or Band Subscription - maximum FOUR delegate passes.

BIGSOUND offers special rates for partners and group bookings of 8+

To access partner rates please contact your QMusic Partnership Manager.

For group bookings please complete the form below. Please note the rate is set at our subscriber price i.e. $649 until 30 June / $749 Until 31 July and $849 until 1 September.

Special rate tickets will be pre invoiced and the delegate access is only available when tickets are fully PAID. If tickets are not paid within 14 days on invoice issue, the discount request will be cancelled.

Oztix

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY AT BIGSOUND

BIGSOUND will be recording events by way of photographs, video, and other means. There is no viable method by which we can guarantee you will not be recorded if you attend BIGSOUND. If you do not wish to be recorded, you must not attend the event. Recordings may be used for promotion of future events, and for promotion of the organisers’ business and services.

Is there a discount for QMusic subscribers/members of reciprocal organisations?

Member rate applies to members of QMusic, AIR, AAM, AMPAL, ALMBC, IMNZ, WAM, MusicACT, MusicNSW, MusicSA, Music NT, Music Tasmania, Music Victoria, A2IM, CBAA, MMF NZ, MPEG.

N.B. Reciprocal subscription of the above organisations entitles you to one (1) discounted registration per subscription except where indicated below.

Free membership organisations such as APRA AMCOS are not able to claim member prices.

The only subscription categories that entitle you to more than one discounted delegate pass are:
QMusic Business / Organisation subscription - maximum FOUR delegate passes
QMusic Band subscription - maximum TWO delegate passes

Please note, all prices are in Australian dollars and all tickets for BIGSOUND are GST Free.

To access these prices, proof of membership has to be provided as part of your booking. All delegate passes and showcase tickets are to be collected from the BIGSOUND registration desk during the event, and proof of subscription or student passes must be shown upon collection.

Is there a discount for group bookings?

Yes! BIGSOUND offers a special rate for group bookings of 8+.

Tickets will be pre invoiced and the delegate access is only available when tickets are fully PAID. If tickets are not paid within 14 days, the discount request will be cancelled.

Can I get a refund on my delegate pass?

Yes, up to 2 August 2025 refunds of BIGSOUND Delegate registration may be permitted on a case by case basis. Delegates must notify the organisers in writing no later than 2 August 2025. If a refund is agreed to, a 10% admin charge will be deducted from the refund amount.

The Organiser does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change in your personal circumstances.

After 2 August - BIGSOUND registrations are not refundable.

What if I lose my pass/ticket? Will BIGSOUND replace it?

BIGSOUND will only replace lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets if the authenticity of the ticket can be verified, including proof of purchase, and if you give reasonable notice before the event. BIGSOUND may charge a reasonable fee for the replacement of tickets.

Can I book with a companion card?

If you have a valid Companion Card and over 18 years of age, you may be eligible for companion tickets to BIGSOUND.

What happens if I have purchased tickets through an unauthorised reseller?

Any tickets that are purchased via an unauthorised reseller are not valid tickets. If you buy a ticket from an unauthorised ticket seller you will be denied admission. Please ensure you take care when purchasing tickets and only purchase through the BIGSOUND website or Oztix. For more about purchasing form authorised sellers and your consumer rights, refer to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

What are the ticketing fees involved?

There are no extra fees for booking or transaction on the BIGSOUND delegate passes. If purchasing a Festival pass (one or three night passes), a booking fee is advertised with the price on the Oztix website. There are no extra fees aligned to booking than what is advertised on the sellers website.

The transaction and booking fee factors in a variety of costs including ticket delivery costs, costs associated with taking, processing and fulfilling your ticket booking and the costs associated with the technology we use to provide you with our services.

Will my details be used by a third party?

The type of personal information held by BIGSOUND will depend upon an individual’s preferences when signing up. BIGSOUND complies with the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988.

Are gift vouchers available?

BIGSOUND does not offer gift vouchers. If you would like to purchase a ticket or delegate pass on behalf of someone else, please contact our office to discuss your options on +61 7 3257 0013 or info@qmusic.com.au.

What will appear on my credit card statement when I make a purchase for BIGSOUND?

“Queensland Music Network Inc” will appear on your credit card statement if purchasing a Delegate pass.

Who is eligible for concession, student, or youth ticket rates?

Discounted tickets are available for:
- Concession card holders
- Students enrolled in secondary or tertiary education
- Mob tickets (Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples)
- Attendees aged 25 and under

Please note: BIGSOUND is a strictly 18+ event. You must be 18 or older for the entire duration of BIGSOUND to purchase and use a discounted ticket, regardless of which eligible category applies to you.

What proof do I need to bring?
- Valid proof of concession entitlement - such as a concession card or student ID - is required for the full duration of the 2026 BIGSOUND event. You may be asked to present this when collecting your ticket.
- If you cannot provide valid proof at the event, you may be charged the difference between what you paid and the current full ticket price before your ticket is released. All festival venues are strictly 18+.

What are BIGSOUND’s Conditions of Sale?

For all events that are still scheduled for the future, there is no need for you to do anything. If there are any changes to the event information, the seller (BIGSOUND or Oztix) will email the original ticket purchaser and update the event page as soon information is confirmed.

If your event has been canceled, the original ticket purchaser will receive an email with instructions on how to claim a refund. If your event has been postponed, the seller will be in contact to confirm if you would like to hold onto your tickets or receive a full refund. There is no need to contact the seller directly. If the event has a rescheduled date, details of the new event date will be emailed to the original ticket purchaser and updated on the event page as soon as they are confirmed.

If your event has not been canceled, but you can no longer attend, please refer to the above FAQs about reselling tickets and refunds. If you still have questions after receiving the above information, please contact the seller.

Is there an authorised ticket resale opportunity?

Oztix may offer a ticket resale facility for a specific event for Festival tickets. This will allow you to offer for sale your unwanted tickets or to buy unwanted tickets from other customers for such a specific event. Oztix reserves the right to charge a resale fee for facilitating such a sale.

Oztix will use its best endeavours to verify the validity of each ticket offered for sale but Oztix makes no guarantee that all tickets offered on the Oztix resale facility are valid. We advise you that as a buyer you should be aware of the risks. If your tickets purchased from the resale facility prove to be invalid Oztix's liability is limited to refunding you the resale facility charge.
