Kimberley Galceran is Dark Mofo's Music Director as well Associate Creative Director for DarkLab. She oversees the programming and business objectives for the Odeon, Altar Bar and In The Hanging Garden in Hobart. Starting as a bass player and DJ, she moved into community radio (FBi Radio Sydney and BayFM Byron Bay), booking venues and presenting her own immersive warehouse events as Octopus Pi. From 2016-2020 she was the Head of Touring at Bluesfest, organising and promoting tours for artists such as Robert Plant, Patti Smith and Iggy Pop.
As the curator for Dark Mofo she pursues her love of all things dark, underground, evocative, extreme and experimental; programming some of the world's greatest while championing local and independent artists. Her programming philosophy is rooted in equity, diversity, collaboration and curating transformative musical experiences. Kimberley was the recipient of the for Creative Leadership award at the 2025 Australian Women in Music Awards.
