#Details

While there are points of difference between gaming and music, there are many insights artists can take from the way gamers engage and monetise their audiences. On the flipside, music has such an important role to play in the increasingly immersive gaming landscape.

We’ve seen artists such Travis Scott to Charli XCX seamlessly integrate into Fortnite and Roblox, respectively, while The Sims’ “Spill The Tea" campaign recently explored the ever-growing audience overlap between music and gaming. More than ever, the two mediums are successfully fusing themselves in a way that is bearing massive profits for not only the creatives (the musicians and the gamers), but their respective business infrastructures.

In this panel, gaming experts, artists, and the team behind this massive campaign for The Sims discuss how music and gaming can continue collaborating in the future. They will look at successful case studies and explore how the connection of these two mediums can mean long term artistic and cultural success for both the gaming and music industries.
