This event explores what Mental Health experiences First Nations Musicians and Industry workers may encounter within the music industry - including discussion of intergenerational trauma and how that plays a part in mental health, being in a dominant non-indigenous industry, issues faced with non-indigenous organisations not understanding how to engage with the First Nations music Community, cultural appropriateness around the usage of music and issues around First Nations Musician having to educate as well as do creative work.

The panel will also be discussing the barriers of reaching out for help with the Indigenous Community and what supports are available for First Nations Musician, crew and music workers.
