Satan's Rainbow collides reality with technology, creating stunning visual installations using live recording and projection mapping.
Using footage gathered from choice locations in the Brisbane area and streamed live on site, they are transforming a section of Brunswick Street into a living, breathing inter-dimensional portal.
Since their debut at Jungle Love 2017 with Kaleider, Satan's Rainbow have been collaborating with the infamous Wonky Queenslander crew at Rabbits Eat Lettuce and Modifyre 2018, as well as bringing the party at several smaller projects around Queensland.
Artwork Title: Panopticon
Do you find it hard to shake the feeling you are being watched?
How will you act when the eye is on you?
The Panopticon is a monstrous fusion of the visceral and the surreal, tunneling wormholes throughout BIGSOUND distorting notions of time and space. An invasive eye will scan the crowds, feeding all that it sees into the machine to be processed, and then spat out across the wall for all to see. Mixtures of animation and footage fuse to form an interactive visual art installation that will captivate you then drag you in
