Neil Morris is a Yorta Yorta yiyirr artist, entrepreneur, radio host and VMDO First Peoples Manager. Raised in Mooroopna, on Kaieltheban land, his connection to country and culture has always been strong. As he moved into being a musician, he worked concurrently in Indigenous peoples advocacy and self-determined business and cultural development with his Yorta Yorta people. The path to his music and empowerment for his peoples through economic structures was destined to synergise. Neil has a strong reputation as one of the country's most uncompromising First Nations DIY artists, thinkers and community builders within music.
